1923/24 Studied at the Kunstakademie Dresden under Otto Gussmann
1945 Loss of almost the entire oeuvre due to war damage
1945-1948 Member of the artists' group »Der Ruf«
1979 since then permanent visa for West Berlin
1984 Third Class National Prize of the GDR for Art and Literature
